The 'Waking Up' is the fourth course in the rest of Rande Howell Learning Systems' work. You must complete course 1, 2 and 3 (Emotional Regulation & Mindfulness, Inherent Worth) before starting this course.
Now that you've learned to regulate your emotions and develop mindfulness skills, it's time to examine the conflicting voices in your head that have been holding you back.
What You'll Discover:
Your internal dialogue isn't random—it's driven by two powerful emotional programs called the "Dark Side": the Adapted Voice (self-doubt) and the Inner Critic (over-confidence). These thought patterns run automatically in your mind, and when you identify with them as "your thoughts," they consume your awareness and limit your potential.
What You'll Do:
Through video lectures, a comprehensive textbook, guided meditations, and reflection exercises, you'll learn to recognize and separate yourself from these two destructive voices. You'll work through the material at your own pace, completing forms that help you understand what your Inner Critic actually says about you and how the Adapted Voice has kept you playing small.
A special bonus meditation teaches you to distinguish between the Inner Critic and a third voice—the Orphan (Adaptive Voice)—which many people find difficult to separate.
