The Inherent Worth Course is the Fifth course in the rest of Rande Howell Learning Systems' work. You must complete course 1, 2, 3 and 4 (Emotional Regulation, Mindfulness, Inherent Worth & Dark Side of Human Potential) before starting this course.
This course teaches you how to intentionally construct a mind that responds powerfully to life's challenges instead of reacting from old patterns.
What You'll Do
You'll create a personal journal throughout this course to track your learning and progress. Alongside video lectures and a workbook companion, you'll explore three essential parts: how emotions create meaning, how to work with memory, and how to build symbolic representations of your empowered self.
Part 1: Emotion, Meaning, and Memory
You'll discover how your brain encodes experiences into emotional memories that automatically control how you respond to challenges. Through Memory Enrichment and Memory Consolidation practices, you'll learn to summon emotions like discipline, courage, self-soothing, and impartiality from past experiences—even ones your brain has forgotten. This becomes your foundation for handling uncertainty with strength instead of fear.
Part 2: Symbolic Representation and Archetypes
Using powerful symbols, you'll connect your enriched memories to archetypes—voices on your mind's "governing committee." You'll learn to manage both positive voices (like the Ruler, Warrior, Caregiver, and Sage) and negative ones (Inner Critic and Orphan) through guided meditations and journaling.
Part 3: Assembling Your Empowered Mind
In the final section, you'll bring together the heroic archetypes into a unified coalition—your Empowered Mind. Through the "Preparing the Mind for the Day" meditation, you'll practice activating all these empowered voices to lead your internal committee.
